ATEN HDMI Professional AV Solution helps Chain Store Flexibly Build Digital Signage System for Advertising Purposes

A chain store faced the challenge of installing a flexible digital signage system for advertising in its shops, which varied in scale. They needed to deliver high-quality video commercials to multiple large HDMI TVs and also extract the audio signal to integrate with an existing audio broadcasting system in the arcade. The vendor, ATEN, provided its professional audio/video extension solutions to address these requirements.

ATEN implemented a tailored solution using different combinations of its products. For large shops, the setup included an HDMI over Cat 5 splitter, an HDMI extender, and an HDMI repeater plus audio de-embedder. A more compact configuration with a 2-port HDMI splitter was used for small shops. This allowed the chain store to distribute 1080p video to displays up to 60 meters away and, critically, to extract the audio from the HDMI signal for the arcade's promotional broadcasting system. The results were a high-quality, compatible, and flexible AV system built by ATEN to meet the customer's specific advertising needs.
