Arrow Electronics - Customer Case Study

Arrow Electronics, a global provider of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions, faced a significant challenge in its product test centers. The company needed to gain real-time visibility into the status of each unit on its testing racks, as its old analog KVM switches forced technicians to manually switch between views, making the process extremely time-consuming and tedious.

To solve this, Arrow deployed ATEN's KN2116A IP KVM switches, which feature Panel Array Mode. This ATEN technology allows technicians to view the status of up to 16 test units simultaneously on a single monitor. The solution drastically reduced machine wait time, saving more than 15 minutes per hour per test bench, which translates to 12 hours saved daily and allows significantly more product to be configured and tested.
