an oil and gas equipment and service company needed a way for its operators to access and analyze important data from legacy systems located in a central control room without having to be physically present there. This was causing inefficiencies as personnel had to leave their desks frequently.

ATEN implemented a media distribution solution using their VS1204T splitter and VE170R/VE170RQ extender products over Cat 5e cabling. This allowed the customer to efficiently transmit A/V signals from the control room to multiple remote operator desks up to 300 meters away. The ATEN solution increased operational efficiency by eliminating unnecessary trips to the control room, provided a cost-effective and easy-to-install setup, and resulted in a neater work environment.
