The customer, Just a Kidney, needed to create the first location-based social networking platform to connect living kidney donors with recipients. Their challenge was to build this complex, secure application from scratch, ensuring it was device-agnostic and could facilitate verified connections. They partnered with the vendor, ATAK Interactive, to develop a progressive web application.

ATAK Interactive developed a custom progressive web application using JavaScript and PHP frameworks. The solution included a public-facing website and a secure social application with a custom chat tool and "My Journey" feature for friends and family. ATAK integrated verification APIs and a user management system, and also built a Shopify store to raise funds. The result was a fully functional platform that successfully enables matches between donors and recipients across the United States.
