Group-wide consent management for better marketing and compliance

Societe Generale (through its KB Bank subsidiary) faced fragmented, unreliable customer data and the need to replace an outdated master data solution with a standardized, integrated customer data hub that would support real-time integration, group-wide consolidation and compliant consent management. To address massive online and batch integration challenges across 17 source systems, 5 reference sources and datasets covering some 12 million parties and 12 million addresses, the bank engaged Ataccama and its Ataccama ONE Master & Reference Data Management module.

Ataccama implemented a flexible, scalable Master Data Management hub that delivered a near‑real‑time, cleansed source of customer master data, a Data Quality Firewall for teller and internet banking, consolidated data across all group entities (expanding beyond the original four daughter companies), and centralized consent management. The solution enabled accurate prospect identification via public registry matching, household/group identification for marketing (e.g., group loan offers), and reliable authorization tracking — all implemented by Ataccama to improve data quality, compliance and cross‑group marketing effectiveness.
