Crosskey is a Finnish provider of banking systems and services for Nordic banks, managing systems for more than 3 million customers. Facing rapidly growing log volumes across three datacentres and rising costs and delays from an outsourced MSSP, Crosskey needed to reduce third‑party data sharing to meet PCI DSS requirements while retaining broad threat intelligence and fast detection capabilities.

Crosskey brought security in‑house with AlienVault USM, a unified platform that combines asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, threat detection, behavioral monitoring and integrated threat intelligence (OTX). The deployment gave consolidated log collection and real‑time correlation across Unix, Windows, system, firewall and IDS logs, improved visibility and faster detection, achieved PCI compliance, and allowed a smaller security team to deliver stronger protection.
