The Government Healthcare Department, which manages a large integrated healthcare network serving millions of veterans, needed a better way to handle invoice data from a medication wholesaler and PBMs. Using Astera Software’s ReportMiner, the team faced the challenge of manually extracting and aggregating large daily invoices in PDF and spreadsheet formats because SSIS could not import the data directly into SQL Server.
