A AssurX Case Study
Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, operator of the Trans‑Alaska Pipeline System, faced a major compliance and quality challenge after an internal audit found more than 60 different corrective‑action methods and monthly delinquency rates of 5–20%. Needing a formal Management Actions and Commitments (MAC) program to meet multiple regulatory obligations and stop missed commitments, Alyeska set out to consolidate processes and adopt an automated, process‑compatible solution.
Alyeska selected and implemented the AssurX compliance platform—using a hosted prototype, a structured functional design phase, and role‑based training—to create a workflow‑driven CAPA/MAC system with automated reporting. The result: delinquency rates were effectively eliminated, MAC actions achieved 99% on‑time completion, management reporting became real‑time and automated, and the company gained a scalable tool to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
