Schneider Electric, the global energy management specialist, needed to train about 130,000 employees across 18 countries after replacing 130 major business applications with standardized core systems. To support this large-scale rollout quickly and cost effectively, Schneider Electric turned to Assima and its Assima Cloning Suite (ACS) for simulation-based training.

Assima implemented cloned training environments that let employees practice real transactions without risking live systems, and Schneider Electric built more than 1,000 interactive exercises for SAP, PeopleSoft, and Salesforce.com. The result was faster, more consistent training for 130,000 employees, 24/7 access through the intranet, time savings for trainers, and annual training cost savings of 30% compared with dedicated training environments.
