How to speed up user training in digital tools

CHU Montpellier worked to modernize training for its 13,000 employees after deploying Dxcare, the electronic patient record system, and needed a way to scale training from about 100 people a year to several thousand while making it online, distance-based, and more engaging. Assima provided the digital training approach, using its patented cloning technology and collaborative platform to support role-based learning for staff across the hospital.

With Assima, CHU Montpellier created more than 150 lessons and multiple training paths, enabling more than 2,300 employees to be trained simultaneously and cutting classroom training from 3 hours to 40 minutes, a 78% reduction in training time. Assima’s interactive “clones” improved learner immersion, reduced support calls, protected confidential patient data through anonymization, and extended training access to other hospitals in the GHT network and to medical students before they joined the hospital.
