Frontier Communications, a Fortune 500 provider of data, video and voice services, needed to rapidly onboard and train about 11,600 employees after acquiring Verizon wireline operations in California, Florida and Texas. The company had to align a large new workforce to Frontier’s business needs, systems, and culture while keeping training on time and on budget. Assima supported the effort with its cloning and simulation-based training technology as part of a blended learning approach.

Working with Frontier and Accenture, Assima helped deliver 1,362 eLearning courses, 300 simulations, and hundreds of job aids and videos across 11 systems and 12 functional areas. The program trained 30,000 staff, reduced training time away from the job by 60,375 days, and saved approximately $18.6 million in training costs. Assima’s realistic simulations also improved user confidence and helped create a more consistent and sustainable training experience.
