Dutch Hospital Streamlines SAP Training with Assima

Zuyderland, a Dutch hospital group operating four hospitals, needed to roll out SAP as its main nursing app without disrupting patient care. The challenge was to train 2,500 nursing staff before go-live while protecting patient-facing services and avoiding downtime, and Zuyderland chose Assima Train to support the effort.

Using Assima, Zuyderland’s nurses created about 300 training exercises built from clones of the live application, delivered through eLearning, classroom sessions, print, and video. The result was rapid, secure training with no sensitive patient data at risk, a 50% reduction in classroom training requirements, and a cut in classroom time per nurse from seven days to three and a half days.
