A Asset Panda Case Study
The University of Connecticut, a top-25 public research university with more than 32,000 students across a main campus and four regional campuses, needed to track and maintain a large inventory of fixed assets moved across seven campus sites and used by about 4,000 employees. Their prior vendor database had no connectivity to the financial system and required extensive manual data manipulation, making multi-location audits and asset visibility difficult.
Since adopting Asset Panda in September 2016, UConn uses both desktop and mobile apps for mobile audits, photo identification, easy data import/export, and cross-site asset tracking. The solution increased productivity, improved asset recovery, delivered about an hour saved per day, and provided responsive customer service.
