IT Recruiting Company EXcell Loves Asset Panda’s Versatility

eXcell, a Washington-based division of CompuCom that provides IT recruiting and staffing across North America, needed a better way to manage the computers and equipment used by its ~60-person office and contractors nationwide. Their previous tool, Wasp Barcode, could track check-ins and check-outs but lacked historical data and flexibility, making it hard to match hardware to roles or plan future purchases.

Since adopting Asset Panda (customer since July 2017), eXcell has used its customization and tagging features to capture detailed specs (CPU, memory, etc.), maintain full asset histories, and speed up reporting; they’re also starting to use the work order form for equipment orders. With strong customer support easing deployment, the team now selects the right laptops and peripherals more confidently, gains clearer purchasing insights, and expects ongoing efficiency improvements.
