Community Healthcare Nonprofit Uses Asset Panda To Manage Some 8,000 Assets

ACTS is a St. Mary’s County, Maryland nonprofit that has lent convalescent equipment free of charge since 1993. With a 25-person staff, mostly volunteer-run and roughly 8,000 assets (beds, wheelchairs, walkers, etc.), ACTS struggled to manage high asset turnover with a partially corrupted Access database and volunteers who typically work only four hours a week.

By adopting Asset Panda’s desktop and mobile apps, ACTS now uses check-in/check-out, electronic signatures, role-based settings, inventory management and Device Data Agent integration to update assets at delivery and pickup, track overdue items, and produce accurate reports.
