CHG Healthcare, a 33‑year‑old hospital staffing company with about 2,500 employees and multiple locations, struggled to manage assets after a move to a new Salt Lake City headquarters. The facilities team relied on spreadsheets, couldn’t locate many items (including large quantities of conference chairs), lacked historical data on work times, and was forced into reactive, time‑consuming processes.
In November 2017 CHG adopted Asset Panda’s customizable asset‑tracking and ticketing platform—complete with barcode scanning, custom fields/reports, maintenance scheduling and bulk actions. In under six months the team logged roughly 4,900 assets, handled about 800 work orders, achieved over 28 hours saved per week, improved organization and accountability, balanced workloads, and shifted from reactive fixes to proactive maintenance with better customer service.
