Cutting Edge Lawn Care, founded in 1993, provides lawn and landscape services across the Austin area with a 35-person staff and nearly 300 assets plus 200 inventory items. Managing equipment, parts and maintenance in Microsoft Access became unwieldy—items were missing or overdue for disposal—and the company needed a better way to track asset location, assignments and service history.
Since adopting Asset Panda (customer since April 2017) Cutting Edge uses mobile and web tools for check-in/out, maintenance scheduling, parts assignment and location tracking, enabling quick lookups of who has equipment and when it will be ready. The platform has cut about 5 hours of work per day, reduced loss/theft and inventory errors, improved repair-shop productivity and given leadership clearer maintenance costs for better budgeting decisions.
