A Asset Control Case Study
A major Canadian bank in Toronto needed to reduce duplicated data management across business lines and build a more scalable, consistent security master and pricing process. It turned to Asset Control and its AC Plus platform to create a centralized data management function supporting capital markets and wealth management.
Asset Control implemented AC Plus as the bank’s automated enterprise data management hub, loading, cleansing, storing, and distributing more than 50 data feeds to 35–40 consumer systems. The result was a true one-stop-shop for data, with major gains in operational efficiency, time to market, reduced data costs, and elimination of redundancy; the platform now handles about 1.2 million securities and 30 million data objects, and the bank is expanding its use of Asset Control into Global Risk Management.
