How this UK charity saved 107 days work by improving their digital asset strategy

Leonard Cheshire is a UK charity supporting thousands of people with disabilities through over 200 care homes and a workforce of more than 7,000. Staff across multiple locations needed to produce marketing materials but often lacked design skills, resulting in inconsistent artwork and brand dilution. Although Leonard Cheshire already used Asset Bank to manage images and consents, they needed an exceptionally easy, accessible way for non-designers to create on-brand communications.

The charity implemented BrandStencil integrated directly with Asset Bank, letting staff build templated, on‑brand materials using curated, consented images without additional logins. Role-based permissions and curated image sets ensure correct usage, while the integration saved 2,583 hours (107 days) across 494 resources and 11 templates in three months, significantly improving brand consistency and efficiency.
