How Dedicated Computing Is Evolving Supply Chain Sustainability

Dedicated Computing, a maker of integrated hardware and software platforms for OEM applications, faced growing pressure from major customers to demonstrate deep supply chain sustainability and supply reliable compliance data. To address complex requirements around RoHS, REACH and other regulations, Dedicated Computing partnered with Assent and adopted Assent’s compliance and supply chain sustainability solutions, including Conflict Minerals, REACH, RoHS, Proposition 65, TSCA, SCIP and ESG Premium.

Assent implemented end-to-end data collection, regulatory monitoring and reporting across Dedicated Computing’s supply base—covering 200 active suppliers and 3,100 parts—and effectively became an extension of their team. The program saved the company the equivalent of roughly two to three full-time employees, enabled Dedicated Computing to provide verified sustainability data to key customers, expand its compliance offerings, and helped earn recognition such as the 2023 Business Friend of the Environment Award.
