Hoar Construction needed to deliver Samford University’s Brock School of Business building within a strict $25 million budget, or the project would be canceled. Working with Assemble Systems and its Assemble platform, Hoar had to rapidly evaluate major design changes, perform value engineering, and keep the project moving despite significant scope and budget pressure.

Assemble Systems helped Hoar Construction model the project, compare alternatives, and analyze quantities in just hours instead of weeks. By eliminating an entire parking garage level and refining the design through preconstruction, Hoar cut $3 million from the budget, kept the project on schedule, and delivered the building on time and under budget; the effort also contributed to Hoar’s 2015 Constructech Vision Award.
