Federal Corporation cuts scheduling time to 30-60 minutes with Asprova

Federal Corporation, a Taiwanese tire manufacturer, faced challenges with high inventory costs and delivery inefficiencies due to manual, Excel-based production planning that could not synchronize with sales or adapt to diverse, changing orders. To address this, they implemented the Asprova production scheduler.

By using Asprova for automated scheduling with manual adjustment capabilities, Federal achieved significant improvements. Results included increasing the proportion of products shipped directly without storage from 45% to 85%, raising on-time delivery to 95%, and reducing inventory turnover from 20 to 15 days. These changes saved an estimated 110 million NTD annually, and scheduling time was reduced from days to under an hour.
