Senedd Cymru launches bilingual digital services with Aspire Systems and supports 47 transcribers

The Welsh Parliament, Senedd Cymru, partnered with Aspire Systems to develop its MySenedd digital services. The challenge was to create user-friendly, bilingual systems that would make parliamentary business more transparent and efficient. This required integrating complex data flows with several different systems and providing a consistent view of information both internally and to the public.

Aspire Systems delivered a bespoke, cloud-based .NET solution, which included the Table Office and TRO applications. This mobile-first platform streamlined the submission of parliamentary business and the collaborative transcription and translation of debates. The results for Senedd Cymru included significant internal efficiencies, a vastly simplified publication process, and the establishment of a new benchmark for parliamentary translation systems, as demonstrated to other governments.
