College of Policing launches interactive crime reduction toolkit with Aspire Systems

The College of Policing, a UK government sector body, needed to create an attractive, responsive website to host its What Works Centre for Crime Reduction. Their challenges included building a fully interactive toolkit with a custom rating framework, a research map, and a content management system for their staff. They engaged Aspire Systems to develop this solution.

Aspire Systems implemented a solution using SharePoint 2013 hosted on Microsoft Azure, a bespoke interactive toolkit, and a map using the Google Maps API. This provided police and stakeholders with effective tools to target resources, strengthened collaborative links with academia, and allowed for the public sharing of knowledge on what works in crime reduction. Aspire Systems' work was recognized with a Chief Constable's Commendation.
