Hong Kong-based Yapku embeds Aspera On Demand into its pop! file delivery service

Yapku, a Hong Kong–based content logistics provider for media companies, needed to deliver very large media files and services to clients across Europe, Asia and Australia while supporting different licensing, security and deployment models (cloud, onsite and hybrid). The challenge was to provide fast, secure bulk ingest, file logistics and collaborative sharing across workgroups and partner organizations without slowing workflows.

Yapku embedded Aspera On Demand into its pop! file delivery platform and used Aspera’s FASP protocol to enable rapid, secure uploads and downloads via a centralized Yapku-branded portal offered as pop! cloud and pop! onsite. The result was significantly reduced transfer times, easier cross‑company collaboration, and reliable access to Yapku services—asset storage, transcoding and metadata processing—driving increased regional demand.
