Hong Kong-based Interface, a film editing and processing services company, needed to send and receive very large full-feature film packages—up to 500 GB per title, including 2D, 3D and 4K versions, trailers, sound and subtitles—daily across Asia Pacific and overseas. Their legacy FTP and physical hard-drive shipments were too slow, unreliable and impractical given the unpredictable network conditions of international partners.

Interface implemented Aspera faspex to replace FTP and drive shipments, gaining high-speed, secure transfers with automatic resume/restart and an easy-to-use interface for clients. The solution enabled reliable daily movement of DCDMs and final DCPs to distributors and cinemas worldwide, improving speed, security and workflow simplicity for major studios, broadcasters and other customers.
