OvationData, a global leader in oil and gas data management, needed a way to exchange massive seismic files with customers and replicate data between its Texas and London offices for disaster recovery. Aspera implemented its FASP-based transfer solution across OvationData’s workflow for ingest, internal replication, and customer delivery through a web-based application. The result was fast, reliable, and secure movement of hundreds of terabytes each week, with automatic resume and retry capabilities and encryption in transit and at rest. Aspera helped OvationData deliver files before SLA deadlines and made its delivery model safer, more streamlined, and more efficient.
