One of the Largest Global Organizations partnered with Aspera Technologies to tackle major software asset management challenges across a decentralized, multinational structure. With licenses and contracts scattered in spreadsheets and siloed tools, the customer needed better visibility into Oracle and SAP licensing, improved compliance, and a way to support internal chargeback based on actual software use.

Aspera Technologies implemented Aspera SmartTrack, along with Aspera Master Catalog and Aspera License management as a Service, to centralize license, contract, and usage data and create standardized SAM processes. The result was full visibility into Oracle and SAP within 12 months, covering more than 7,500 Oracle contracts and over 300 SAP contracts, while reducing duplicate agreements, lowering audit risk, and improving chargeback accuracy and cost transparency.
