Infineum Increases Production by 2,000 Tons per Year with Global Information Management System

Infineum, a global leader in petroleum additives, needed to improve manufacturing efficiency, capture production loss data and strengthen performance analysis across its worldwide sites. To support a global manufacturing excellence program and standardize data and processes, Infineum selected Aspen Technology and its Aspen InfoPlus.21 data historian and execution tools.

Aspen Technology implemented Aspen InfoPlus.21 with electronic batch sheets to collect validated end-of-shift data, standardize workflows, and provide consistent KPI and MEI calculations for site and global roll-up. The Aspen Technology solution improved data quality and loss capture, lifted MEI by 0.25%, increased production by 2,000 tons per year and contributed to a 10% improvement in total global MEI, creating a platform for ongoing performance gains.
