The customer SEW-EURODRIVE, a pioneer in drive and automation technology, faced a challenge in testing its complex in-house engineering software. The platform consisted of roughly fifteen highly specialized plugins with deeply nested menus, making it impossible to confidently answer if the entire system worked end-to-end before a release. Their traditional tools fell short, and they lacked the infrastructure for scalable, automated system testing.

Using AskUI, SEW-EURODRIVE implemented a solution that created full end-to-end system tests across its entire CI/CD process in Azure DevOps. The result was 30 automated system tests covering all critical functionality, built with 20,000-30,000 lines of modularized Python and TypeScript code. AskUI enabled them to catch bugs automatically in pipelines that would have been missed manually, leading to improved product quality and fewer customer support issues.
