Sarooj Construction, a Oman-based contractor with a track record since 1976 and more than 30 active, geographically distributed projects, needed to replace paper- and Excel-based HSE tracking with a standardized, traceable system—particularly to manage training records, inspections and site safety visibility. In April 2019 they engaged ASK EHS to provide a digitized HSE management solution (HSE management software plus a mobile app) to drive enterprise-wide safety initiatives and centralize metrics.

ASK EHS implemented an integrated HSE management platform and mobile app (piloted July–September 2019 and rolled out in September) with modules for incident/near-miss reporting, training management, CAPA, equipment/site inspections, toolbox talks and a knowledge base. The solution centralized data for Sarooj’s 4,000+ employees across 30+ projects, improved reporting efficiency and on-the-go data logging, made training validity and inspection records readily accessible, reduced reliance on paper/Excel, and positioned Sarooj Construction as the first organization in Oman to adopt a digitized safety-tracking system.
