Press Metal Aluminium Holdings, a major Malaysian integrated aluminium producer with 10 plants and over 4,000 employees, needed a comprehensive, robust health and safety solution to replace paper-based and fragmented reporting and permit processes. They engaged ASK EHS for an electronic permit-to-work (e-PTW) solution and an enterprise EHS management software to address permit-related requirements, incident reporting, CAPA and site inspection workflows.

ASK EHS implemented its e-PTW and EHS management software (enterprise version), delivering role-based approval workflows, real-time dashboards, incident/CAPA tracking, notifications and data traceability; the system entered UAT in September 2019 and went live in January 2020 across Malaysian plants. As a result, ASK EHS streamlines permit preparation and approvals, significantly reduced redundant on-site approval time, improved planning, risk assessments and reporting visibility, and enabled faster corrective and preventive actions across sites.
