Oncology accelerates forward with SAFE

Zydus Hospira, a specialty pharmaceutical joint venture, faced a legacy pen-and-paper EHS system and needed a software-led solution to meet strict regulatory, GMP and international compliance requirements for cytotoxic injectable manufacturing. They engaged ASK EHS and evaluated the SAFE EHS management software to digitalize and standardize their environmental, health and safety processes.

ASK EHS implemented SAFE via a pilot, brief on-site trainings and phased roll‑out, bringing modules for audits, permit-to-work, inspections, medical checkups, change management and regulatory registers into a single dashboard. The rollout supported about 200 users, required five site visits and two days of technical training, now handles roughly 300 permit requests monthly, and helped Zydus Hospira achieve successful MHRA inspection readiness and satisfy FDA criteria — demonstrating measurable compliance and operational improvements.
