Galvanizes permit to work environment

Bajaj Auto, a major automotive manufacturer with a 700-acre campus at Waluj, Aurangabad, needed to replace a cumbersome paper-based permit-to-work (PTW) process with an automated, trackable solution. During evaluation of EHS software, ASK EHS demonstrated its ePTW product and Bajaj Auto focused on deploying an automated permit-to-work system to improve safety, approvals and operational fit for its complex, hazard-prone shop floors.

ASK EHS implemented the ePTW software (area map, job-hazard analysis, isolation management, permit tracker, information management) on a controlled rollout—10 days and two site visits to install, six initial trainees and a three-week pilot—then scaled division-wide. The subscription-based ePTW brought SMS approvals, eliminated paper checklists, and now supports about 200 users with 50–60 permit requests per month, delivering faster approvals, better tracking, higher efficiency and a stronger safety culture; ASK EHS has since replicated the deployment at other Bajaj Auto sites, including Pantnagar.
