Stoke-on-Trent City Council needed a better way to manage the £250 million Building Schools for the Future program, which involved rebuilding and refurbishing 18 schools across five phases. Its project management, workflow, and document processes were largely manual, with limited access to files and a need for improved collaboration, real-time information access, and auditability. The council turned to Asite PLC and its cloud-based platform to address these challenges.

Asite PLC implemented its cloud platform to automate workflows, improve document control, and give design and construction teams secure access to information from any location. The solution enabled version control, progress reporting, and custom reporting across approvals, documents, risks, and supplier performance, helping Stoke-on-Trent City Council deliver the BSF program more efficiently and with greater accountability. Following this success, the council also expanded use of Asite PLC’s Bid Management tool for its PFI Extracare program.
