London City Airport (LCY), an international airport in London, is undertaking a £500 million expansion to meet growing passenger demand and increase capacity beyond its current limits. To support the complex tendering and contracting work involved in the project, LCY worked with Asite PLC and used its procurement portal and NEC suite of forms.

Asite PLC provided the procurement and contract management platform to streamline the tendering process, improve visibility, and make submissions easier to assess and manage. The solution helped simplify a traditionally resource-intensive process and supported LCY’s expansion plans, which will add around two million passengers annually from 2022, increase flight movements to 111,000 per year, and deliver an estimated £1.5 billion annual economic impact.
