TIG, a UK-based managed service provider, faced the challenge of needing to offer a high-performance, on-demand storage and backup solution to its customers without requiring large capital investments in hardware. To address this, they partnered with vendor Asigra, utilizing Asigra Cloud Backup, and Zadara Storage to develop a new cloud-based service.

The solution implemented by Asigra and Zadara provided a pure operating expense (OpEx) model, allowing TIG to deliver storage and backup as a pay-as-you-go service. This eliminated the need for costly CapEx, lowered risk, increased flexibility, and created a faster path to revenue for the MSP. This was the first time a managed services provider had deployed the combined Asigra and Zadara solution.
