Opus Trust Group and Subsidiaries Select the Cisco Cloud Connector to Simplify End-to-End Enterprise Data Protection

London-based Opus Trust Group and its subsidiaries (IdeasTap and Bancroft Wines) needed to simplify and extend data protection as the business grew more complex. Their existing cloud backup could not fully protect new VMware and enterprise application environments or reliably cover 4.3–4.8 TB of mixed physical and virtual data, putting business continuity at risk.

Working with Cisco partner Project Vision and OnDemand Recovery, Opus deployed the Cisco Cloud Connector powered by Asigra (on Cisco ISR G2 and UCS E-Series) to provide a single, agentless backup platform with local disk recovery and automated offsite cloud-based VM disaster recovery. The solution simplified management, delivered end-to-end protection across all systems and applications, enabled fast local and remote restores, scaled with the business, and produced more predictable costs and greater peace of mind.
