Hilldrup Moving & Storage, the third-largest United Van Lines agent with locations across the Southeast, relied on a tape-based backup system to protect more than 3TB of data spanning 28 virtual servers, 15 legacy physical servers and an AS/400 environment, including SQL-based MoversSuite and countless user files. Tape backups required offsite transport, exposed data to loss from disasters and user error, and made recoveries slow and unreliable—often taking days and tying up IT resources.

To address this, Hilldrup deployed Yotta280’s hybrid cloud backup service powered by Asigra, providing local and remote recovery with agentless operation, deduplication and AES-256 encryption.
