First Tennessee Bank Reduces Down Time with a Cost Effective Desktop Backup and Recovery Solution powered by Asigra

First Tennessee Bank (First Horizon National Corporation) is a top-50 U.S. bank with about 5,000 employees, 180 locations and more than 460,000 consumer customers and 55,000 businesses. The bank needed a cost-effective, manageable way to protect desktops across 185 branches, headquarters and remote sites—its prior solution covered only about 1,000 machines, relied on ad‑hoc manual backups and consumed limited IT resources.

Partnering with EVS to deploy the agentless Asigra Mobile-Client, the bank enabled nightly backups from existing branch file servers and mass-deployed protection to roughly 4,000 desktops. The single-point-of-contact service and non–per-seat licensing reduced management overhead and costs, cut downtime with fast restores, simplified hardware refreshes, freed IT to focus on higher-value work, and improved data protection and regulatory compliance.
