Centre Technologies Puts the Right Price on Enterprise Backup and Recovery in Close Partnership with Asigra

Centre Technologies, a Texas-based IT consulting and hosting provider with two Tier‑4 co-location facilities, more than 80 blades, ~1,800 virtual machines and over three petabytes of storage, needed a less manpower‑intensive, enterprise‑grade backup offering it could host locally for customers. The team sought a scalable pricing model for clients with tens to hundreds of terabytes of data and wanted strong encryption and clear data locality — all while keeping costs well below the common $1/GB barrier.

By partnering with Asigra and deploying Asigra Cloud Backup’s agentless, automated platform in its own co‑location facilities, Centre delivered encrypted, locally hosted SaaS backup and used Asigra’s Recovery License Model (priced on post‑dedup/compression capacity and recovery behavior) to hit profitable pricing.
