National Starch and Chemical’s Indianapolis plant inherited a poorly implemented CMMS and, under new maintenance manager Nathan Rhoades and procurement manager Steven Schuld, seriously considered replacing MaintiMizer™. They discovered the system had never been set up properly and staff didn’t understand its capabilities, so after logging issues they sought help from Ashcom Technologies following an Ashcom “Best Maintenance Practices” seminar.

Ashcom Technologies worked with the plant to rebuild MaintiMizer™: Ashcom facilitators helped form focus teams and in‑house champions, provided on-site support to manage priorities and troubleshoot, added modules, and trained staff.
