Kent Displays, a world leader in Reflex LCD research, development and manufacturing, needed to reduce reactive work orders and transition to a scheduled, proactive maintenance model after adding a new production line at their Kent, Ohio headquarters. To address this, Kent Displays partnered with Ashcom Technologies and implemented the MaintiMizer™ CMMS alongside Ashcom’s Continuous Improvement Curriculum (CIC).
Ashcom Technologies sent a subject-matter expert to assess the facility, work with the maintenance team, and help develop Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practices, and several meaningful, measurable preventive maintenance (PM) programs, plus a roadmap for additional PMs and a long-term improvement plan. The engagement improved maintenance productivity and moved Kent Displays toward a proactive, scheduled maintenance program while embedding measurable PMs and processes for ongoing improvement.
