Mike’s Bikes, the largest bike dealer in North America with 12 Bay Area stores and a growing online presence, needed to boost repeat purchases and return-store traffic through more personalized, automated marketing. To do this they partnered with Ascent360 and its Customer Data Platform (CDP) to better unify customer data and enable targeted post-purchase outreach.
Ascent360 implemented a CDP-driven solution that ingests purchase history, updates daily CRM lists, adds dynamic content, and triggers a two-email post-purchase incentive series at 90 and 120 days (if no new purchase). The campaign—sent via Mike’s Bikes’ email service provider—generated over $100K in revenue, a $346 AOV, $4 revenue per email, and delivered open and conversion rates roughly 2x industry norms, with Ascent360 also providing automated revenue attribution.
