Wolf GmbH delivers a heating systems MVP in 4 months with Ascendro

The customer, Wolf GmbH, is a leading manufacturer of energy-saving heating and ventilation systems based in Bavaria. To compete with rivals who had begun digitalizing their products, Wolf needed to build an application that would allow end-users to monitor system health and receive malfunction alerts. Facing internal resource limitations and a hard deadline for the ISH fair, Wolf engaged the vendor, Ascendro, for IT staff augmentation to develop this MVP.

Ascendro augmented Wolf's technical team to build the frontend application using ReactJS and NodeJS. To overcome the challenge of an undefined data source, Ascendro created a mock API to enable development and thorough testing. Despite tight deadlines and integration challenges, Ascendro successfully delivered 85 frontend user stories within 120 days, resulting in a fully functional MVP that was showcased at the fair.
