Highwoods Properties, a Raleigh-based REIT with interests in 382 properties, needed to automate and standardize leasing workflows to free leasing representatives from time-consuming, manual renewal tracking and inconsistent regional processes. To address fragmented lease expiration tracking, disparate broker and prospect activity records, and difficult pipeline reporting, Highwoods selected AscendixRE and its Real Estate Advantage solution built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM to provide a familiar, Outlook-integrated platform for leasing staff.
AscendixRE worked with leasing reps to tailor Microsoft Dynamics CRM, adding built-in workflows (18/12/6-month renewal tasks), a roll-up account view, and automated renewal and forecasting reports so data could be consolidated across offices. The implementation eliminated manual report preparation, saved significant staff time, improved visibility into account activity and forecasting, and enabled Highwoods to scale the solution across offices while becoming largely self-sufficient in creating reports and workflows.
