Apunipima (Cape York Health Council), the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in Queensland with over 260 staff, faced difficulty keeping employees across remote communities connected to up-to-date information and lacked clear visibility of employee performance. To address these issues they engaged Ascender and its online Human Capital Management suite, including Performance Management and Learning & Development.

Ascender implemented its integrated HCM solution to give staff consistent system access regardless of location and to centralise performance and learning records. As a result, Apunipima gained improved connectivity and clearer employee performance visibility, enabling them to focus funding on frontline service delivery and ensure staff can access the latest data needed to deliver health services across Cape York.
