Cancer Council NSW is a community‑funded cancer charity dedicated to prevention, research and support across New South Wales. Facing a paper‑based, inconsistently applied performance management process and a diverse set of divisional priorities, Cancer Council NSW engaged Ascender to implement a new performance planning solution — the Ascender Performance Management system — to improve organisational alignment and focus.

Ascender implemented its Performance Management system across the whole organisation to align departmental objectives with the overall organisational plan, standardise performance planning, and centralise compliance and quality reporting. The Ascender solution delivered an organisation‑wide rollout that unified objectives, streamlined processes, increased organisational efficiency and provided centralised reporting to better support fundraising and operational priorities.
