Ascend Analytics partnered with Clean Power Alliance (CPA), California's largest Community Choice Aggregator, to run two Requests for Offer. The challenge was to evaluate over 170 project offers for renewable energy and stand-alone storage, identifying the most economic and least risky options for procurement to meet CPA's clean energy and reliability goals.

The solution utilized Ascend Analytics' advanced market intelligence tools to automate screening and provide economic valuations based on energy market forecasts. This process quickly identified the most valuable projects for negotiation. As a result, Ascend enabled CPA to efficiently procure 1-2 million MWh annually of clean energy from a shortlist of optimal projects.
