A Asana Case Study
The Food Assembly is a French startup (110 employees) that runs 1,200+ local marketplaces across Europe to connect 6,000 producers with 190,000 members and promote direct, farm‑fresh sales. As its platform—three different user interfaces serving producers, hosts, and members—grew across nine countries, product teams struggled to coordinate work, prioritize features, and maintain clarity about who was doing what; GitHub proved unsuitable for cross‑functional project management.
After piloting several tools, The Food Assembly adopted Asana because it was easy to onboard and use. Four product teams now track initiatives and feed a consolidated “Product Roadmap Dashboard,” while teams use Asana to organize projects, log bugs, set objectives, and convert internal requests into tasks. The result: stronger visibility, clearer priorities and accountability, smoother cross‑company communication, and a more scalable way to manage product work.
